As an alternative to the internship required by your study program, you may request that your work experience is taken into account and credits attributed towards your degree.
A prerequisite to receiving internship credits for your work experience is that the latter is relevant to the objectives of your study program. The decision to attribute internship credits to your work experience is subject to Course Council’s decision.
In general, one month work experience equals 1 credit.
For example, the internship required by your degree program attributes 6 credits; your work experience must be of 6 months at least. This parameter does not apply to the study program for Educators, in which the duration of the work experience must only equal the number of mandatory internship hours (200). In addition only one mandatory curricular internship may be replaced by a recognition of specific work experience;
