unibz students can choose from a range of ticket options for using public transport in South Tyrol:
This personal annual pass allows unlimited travel on the entire South Tyrol integrated public transport network, including regional trains to Trento. It is available to young people under the age of 19 at the time of application.
The annual fee is €21.
This personal season ticket allows the holder to travel on the entire public transportation network in South Tyrol and on the regional trains until Trento for a whole year.
unibz students who at the time of requesting the pass will be under 26 years of age, can buy the ticket for € 153.
Also this personal season ticket allows the holder to travel on the entire public transportation network in South Tyrol and on the regional trains until Trento for a whole year.
unibz students who at the time of requesting the pass will be over 26 years of age, can buy the ticket for € 250.
This personal season ticket allows the holder to travel on the entire public transportation network in the Euregio region (South Tyrol, Trentino and Tyrol) for a whole year.
unibz students who at the time of requesting the pass will be under 28 years of age, can buy the ticket for € 377. The pass is then valid for one year.
Eligible students who already have a Südtirol Pass abo+ subscription can - within 8 months from date of issue or renewal - request a Euregio Ticket Students by paying an additional € 206. The ticket can then be used anywhere in the Euregio territory, with the annual validity of the original Südtirol Pass abo+ ticket remaining in place.
As an alternative to the above passes, students over the age of 26 can get the südtirolmobil Flex Pass which is a pay-as-you-go public transportation pass. The idea is simple: the more kilometres you travel throughout one year, the cheaper each new journey gets. This type of subscription is recommended if your annual transport costs do not exceed €250.
