Many students and graduates aspire to an internship or career in the field of the European Union. However, it is not always easy to find one’s way around and find the right path to one’s goal.
To learn more about working in these areas and the opportunities available for students, graduates, and young professionals, the fourth series of monthly online meetings dedicated to various professional profiles will continue in April. Guests will share insight into their daily work, the educational and professional journey that led them to Brussels, and offer first-hand advice.

Our guests for the last appointment of the semester are:

Gianpiero Petruzziello and Gaia Marotta

Gianpiero Petruzziello is Policy and Project Manager at the European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN). With Bioeconomy and Circular Economy as his main areas of focus, he is strongly committed to fostering stakeholder engagement in research and innovation. At ERRIN, Gianpiero leads the work of the Natural Resources and Adaptation Cluster and coordinates ERRIN's support for members in project development. He holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Siena.

Gaia Ialisa Marotta is a Project and Policy Manager at the European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN), where she leads the network’s Climate Adaptation Task Force and the Transport Working Group. She coordinates ERRIN’s contribution to the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change and is actively engaged in the RESIST project, supporting twelve European regions in testing and scaling innovative adaptation solutions. Through her work, Gaia fosters regional collaboration, policy dialogue, and capacity-building to strengthen climate resilience. Her efforts help ensure that local and regional voices shape EU climate adaptation strategies. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna.

The event will be held in English and is open to unibz students, PhDs and professors.
