Since all libraries are closed during the coronavirus emergency, printed books and journals are not available to professors and students alike. In these difficult times didactics, learning and research are mostly taking place on a digital level, with the support of the Library. The Library staff tries to find and acquire as many electronic alternatives to popular print titles as possible and also to add brand new e-titles to the collection. Furthermore, due to Covid-19 some scientific publishers have decided to make large parts of their collections openly available and, where possible, the Library adds these titles to the Library catalogue. Additionally, there are quite a few international projects with many, freely accessible e-books, e-journals, videos, podcasts and data.
