Within the framework of the Caritas Project “Promotion of Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education for All”, which is realised as a cooperation between schools/kindergartens, ministries, (state) actors and universities, the project team planned an excursion to South Tyrol to learn more about its inclusive education system with its long tradition. Besides visiting schools in the territory or the local department of education, the project team also paid a visit to the Competence Centre for School Inclusion in Brixen-Bressanone. After that the Centre presented School Inclusion in Italy from a scientific perspective both teams entered into an enriching dialogue on inclusion.
