The welcome day will open with institutional greetings from the Rector, Prof. Alex Weissensteiner, and the Vice-Rector for Studies, Prof. Marco Baratieri, who will welcome the new PhD students and share the vision and objectives of research at unibz.

This will be followed by a brief presentation of the programmes, during which the research paths offered and the opportunities for interdisciplinary and international collaboration will be illustrated.

The morning will conclude with a presentation of student services, an opportunity to learn about the resources and support available to accompany doctoral students in their academic and personal journeys.
