In case of accidents and/or damage during the internship, students and the hosting companies/institutions are asked to follow the following procedure:

Internships in Italy - accident/damage Report

In case of an accident at work (INAIL)
contact immediately:

• What happened? (what? when? how? where? why?)
• Who is affected? (name, place of residence)
• Are there witnesses? (names, contact)

Required documents: copy of the INAIL certificate issued by the doctor or first aid.

If you need to activate the liability insurance because damage has been caused to third parties, or if you have any questions about it, you can contact Assiconsult directly:

If the claim occurs on Friday afternoon or Saturday, the report can also be made to Assiconsult the following week.

Internships abroad - accident/claim report

Inquiries regarding reimbursement of medical expenses abroad are always made via the European Travel Insurance number (24h/24h)

The policy number must be stated when making the report: No. U00-0007-5626.

The damage case must also be reported in writing to bursary@unibz.it.

The following information must be provided:

• What happened? (what? when? how? where? why?)
• Who is affected? (name, place of residence)

• Available useful documents (e.g. invoices).
